Ollie's indignation at the news of Laurel's good fortune is a joy to behold. Following your logic ala social realism ... the same scene in something along the lines of say, Nil By Mouth would be brutality cubed ... here tis a masterclass in comedy timing

December 3rd, 1927 - 'Putting Pants On Philip', the first official paring of Stan and Ollie, was released

I love Laurel and Hardy and this is the first time I have seen this, I must say the quality is very good for 90 years old and you can see the foundations for what was to come. Legends and still funny now.
