Great series, the creator worked in the states on the animated batman and it shows! You'll enjoy this (I hope) though it has a bit of a WTF ending!
I'm up to episode 4 and I just can't stop watching it! It's genuinly fantastic and a piller of everything that should be great about animation. I just adore the feel of it, it's almost like they took an old 1940's cartoon and touched it up a bit and added some genuinly funny parodies and an awful lot of kick arse-ery.

The homages are also very nicely done, not shoved in your face. Roger Smith is Bruce Wayne, Dorothy is Robin, Rosewater is Lex Luther and Gold Buck is The Riddler. Not sure who Scharzwald is supposed to be though, Scarecrow?

It keeps getting better as well. I'd be interested to know your thoughts on the ending as well....

Currently watching 'The Borgias' season 1 not as good as I thought it would be! Hasn't grabbed me the same way as 'Game of Thrones' did! Still can't be as bad as 'World Without End' which was so bad I could only stomach two episodes!

I read somewhere he starves himself for 24hrs before filming and then spends the next day hammering it out in the gym.
