How's Season 2 of The Strain going? I watched the first season but I got frustrated with it. Outside of David Bradley, Richard Sammel, and Kevin Durand, the show was pretty disappointing.

Marathonning Fringe season 1 at the moment. Wasn't actually intending to marathon it, but it's... kind of addictive...

Fringe is fantastic and in my opinion it gets even better after season one.

Jekyll and Hyde.

ITV's new early evening drama isn't too bad going off the first episode. Quite violent for something that airs at 6.30pm - stabbings, glassings etc. Charlie Higson's script rattled along but any tension that may have built up was ruined by advert breaks.

The story seemingly influenced by many other productions including The Incredible Hulk and Torchwood was slightly marred by the fact Jekyll looked exactly the same once he's morphed into Hyde.

As an opener this was okay.

I'll probably stick with it unless i forget it's on next week. 6.30 seems an odd time really.

I completely forgot it was on, so will have to find it and catch up somewhere. I'm interested to see if Mr Hyde is shown as a big, brutish, monster (as in pretty much every film and TV adaptation so far) or, as he is in the book, a small, creepy, and perverted individual.

He looks no different to Jekyll. Just a slightly deeper voice and stronger.
