I've said this to people before, we had the best cartoons in the 80s, most are better than 90% of the stuff today.

Damn right, I was having this discussion with a pair of lads in their early 20's yesterday at work, who'd grown up on stuff like the Simpsons, Dexter's Lab etc. They'd never seen the original Transformers, Thundercats, He-Man or Dungeons & Dragons before!

Most people I know around that age must have better taste have seen them and agree that they are better than most of the stuff today. How can anyone not of seen transformers, he- man or thundercats before, what boring childhoods they must of had!

I was watching this late 1998 The Bill today and there was this pretty teenage girl whose baby had been snatched from the hospital and I'm looking at her and going "I know her from somewhere". She looked a little younger and her hair was different but I knew I knew her but I couldn't place her. Was bugging the hell out of me and it wasn't until I saw the credits - Holly Davidson - that it clicked. PC Roz Doyle from The Bill from 2000-2001!
