Neither of my parents watch
Star Trek, and I don't know if they ever have, so it wasn't anything which was on when I was younger. Also, I didn't hang around with anyone at school who was a fan, so didn't have the need to watch it in order to keep up with conversations; the closest I got was repeatedly watching and memorising
Red Dwarf! It seems there is so much
Star Trek around that it would take years to watch all of the various incarnations, from Shatner to Stewart. One of these days…
On more current events, I'm a quarter of the way through the fourth series of
The Wire and, when I don't have enough time for a full episode, and watching the second series of
Fawlty Towers. Both are brilliant in their very different ways, and amongst the best TV shows ever made.
