Im surprised the people v o j simpson American crime story is tucked away on bbc2 with not publicity considering it based on a story as big as this and got quite few famous people. And got good reviews
Cuba goodman jr playing o j simpson.
David schwimmer and
John travolta who had bad reviews
Despite the praise for the rest of the cast, Travolta's performance of Shapiro has been met with negative reviews by critics. Brian Lowry of Variety called Travolta "awful in the role. Yes, Shapiro spoke in stiff, measured tones, but the actor's overly mannered line readings turn the attorney into a buffoon, in sharp contrast to the more nuanced portrayals around himNicole Jones of Vanity Fair called his performance "campy and calculated.Dan Feinberg of The Hollywood Reporter also criticized his performance, calling it "a mesmerizingly bad performance from the eyebrows down." He also wrote that "His unnecessary accent varies by episode, and Travolta's laser intensity feels arch and almost kabuki at times, turning Shapiro into a terrifying character from the next American Horror Story installment, rather than a part of this ensemble

I'm looking forward to watching that, but I'm more likely to wait until it's finished so I can watch the whole thing in a week rather than over 13 weeks.

I watched first episode last night i enjoyed it.
But i agree with the comment about john travolta his acting in it was a bit ropey but aside from that a excellent watch has good reviews, im sure i read rotten tomatoes has gave it about 96 r somewhere around there.

I'm not surprised the OJ Simpson thing is tucked away on BBC2.

I'm in the 'Who gives a shit?' camp on this. He committed a crime, he's in prison. That's it!

Honstly. Not that many. Apart from events leading from JFK and The Krays basically nothing springs to mind.

Is it still good?

I loved Partridge but was severely disappointed by the film. It seemed like Partridge was a relic of a bygone time of comedy and hadn't aged well even in such a short space of time.

It's still very funny in short doses, they're only around twenty minutes a piece which is an optimal Partridge time allotment. I didn't like the film much myself.
