At two for £13 on dvd at HMV it seems a bargain.

Are they recommended?
Agents of Shield is ok, nothing special. Not bothered with Agent Carter. The only Marvel tv show i really rate has been Daredevil.
Close as i can tell you despise this sort of stuff Dem. What on earth possesed you?

I only saw bits of the first season of SHIELD. Seemed surprisingly crap for a Joss Whedon show.

The first season of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Wasn't anything special, but once they started really intergrating the events of the films (upcoming ones too) into the show, it's gotten a lot better, like introducing the Inhumans for example. How many people even knew that the Helicarrier used in Age of Ultron was rebuilt in secret by Coulson & Maria Hill in the tv show?

I'm suprised you're interested in these at all though Dem based on your opinions of the latest slew of Marvel superhero films.

The Bill: Lone Ranger/Old Flame/Push It/Kiss Off. PC Eddie Santini is desperate to get out of Sun Hill and into a position on Drugs Squad. To this end he gets info from a female informant - who he also happens to be sleeping with - in order to set up a decidedly unofficial sting on a drug dealer. Things do not go as planned and he finds himself compromised while people start to die. And just when he thought things couldn't get any worse, one of the people on the Murder Squad turns out to be former PC now DS Rosie Fox, the young woman he bullied and harassed out of Sun Hill less than a year before. This gripping four-parter sees the downfall of the rather horrible Eddie Santini, a first class A grade sheister who finally puts himself into trouble he can't talk his way out of. Great stuff.

That's the thing. I do like superhero tv shows. Smallville, and Arrow are excellent. I like the way tv series expands everything, letting you get to know the characters reasons and motivations.

It's not that i don't like characters such as Iron Man etal, i do, i just don't like the way everything is thrown at the screen in kitchen sink style in a similar fashion to the Transformers films.

Same answer as above.

Agent Carter sounds really good from reading the premise.
