It used to be one of the essential shows that customers would always ask to have on the pub television. Challenge TV on the telly and Planet Rock on the radio was the entertainment of choice when I was behind the bar

Incidentally, Jim Bowen used to be landlord, but he banned all dartboards from his establishment!

I'm with you there, for me it started so well as a rogue unit led by Vic, it could have been the darkest thing ever on tv but they softened Vic Mackey over the series to the point of being almost heroic, the guy's a cop killer for f@%k sake, imagine if the crew just went round killing drug dealers and swiping the dosh, maybe the network demanded Vic and co. should be moral and audience friendly or advertisers put pressure on, tho it's still worth sitting thru for Walt Goggins alone, but I couldn't watch it all again as that ending is far too lame, if ever a character deserved to get wasted in the final scene it's Vic, but alas...
