SUPERGIRL S2 EP 15- 'Exodus' CADMUS has a stolen list of aliens and abducts them with a plan to blast them off into space.. Good scenes here as Alex infiltrates the Cadmus base and Supergirl attempts to stop the ship blasting off into space. Great emotional music for this scene. SUPERGIRL S2 EP 16 'Star-crossed' When a Daxam ship arrives at the Moon, Kara discovers that Mon-El is actually a Prince and has been lying to her.. Huzzah! Kevin Sorbo stars as Mon-El's father. Good to see him back on the screen. The episode ends with the arrival of Music Meister who puts Kara in a dream state and leads into... THE FLASH S3 EP17- 'Duet' The Music Meister puts Barry in a dream state where he meets Kara singing on stage.. Great episode. Various cast members break into song in this real feel good episode with some good comedy moments. It gets emotional as recent threads from Supergirl and The Flash come together and ends on great note. The best Flash episode for quite a while. keirarts and trebor8273 like this. |

Finally caught up with the rest of Inside No 9. Odd wee bunch this time ... and the finale as always quite memorable

Been watching Riverdale on Netflix which is based on the archie comics, its actually very well written and acted and really quite dark with a noir/Gothic feel in places. Now watching the pilot of Oasis on amazon video. keirarts likes this. |

Just two episodes of UFO to go. As it was clunkily released originally with eight cases inside two cardboard boxes i haven't been flying through, just watching three or four episodes at a time. However with the second set i've raced through the last two discs as the series became really impressive and action packed. As a fore runner for Space 1999, UFO has been pretty good although some of the first episodes could have been better as it all seemed quite talky to say it's about a secret organization defending the earth from alien invasion. Where the series does excel is in it's model work and special effects. It is all model work but it looks so realistic. Be it in space, underwater or on land it really is something else and makes todays CGI movies pale in comparison. A splendid series... and i haven't even mentioned the fetishistic nature of the costumes.  |

Been watching some new shows, well new for me. How to get away with murder Troll hunter's Designated survivor Shooter Rick and Morty Dirk Gently Into the Badlands ( which for me has been the best of the bunch with some truly stunning martial arts) keirarts and bleakshaun like this. Just finished Stranger Things blasted through 6 episodes today great stuff cant wait for season 2.
