Scream Satan Scream!

A glorious episode from Steve Coogan's brilliant parody series of the glory days of British horror - Dr. Terrible's House of Horrible.

Captain Tobias Slater, Witch locater, is cursed by a dying sorceress and lured into a trap by her two wicked sisters. Set in the fictitious North West town of er' Blackburn, Scream Satan Scream! is almost as good as the film it spoofs - Witchfinder General from 1968.

Coogan is brilliant as Slater, double entendre's roll off his tongue with ease in an episode which is as sexy as it is scary as Slater thoroughly examines every pretty girl and buxom babe in Blackburn in a bid to root out any evil. Also look out for Warwick Davis as Slater's assistant, the brilliantly monikered Tigon. If you love films such as the aforementioned Witchfinder General, Mark of the Devil etc then this could be right up your street.

Finished latest episodes of.

Supergirl
Flash
Arrow
DC legends of tomorrow
Gotham

Just started Punisher, hoping it's more daredevil/Jessica Jones than iron fist, but on the whole reviews seem positive.

Watched the first two episodes of Punisher, excellent stuff like the other shows its slow burning and is more about character development and the story than none stop action, when we do have action it's bloody and brutal Jon Bernthal is The Punisher.

It's one has of those Netflix shows which is 4k HDR while it doesn't look quite as good as a 4k UHD blu ray, it's a vast improvement over a standard blu ray.

Yeah, started THE PUNISHER as well. Great stuff!

Looks like they are back on form after the disappointing iron fist.

Punisher

I've watched the whole series and whilst excellent it wallows in mean and mood for far too long and one episode has no violence!

However...

The interjection of liberal politics in a programme that starts with an all out gun fetish opening sequence is pretty funny though.
