There's a highly entertaining 2013 Australian/Canadian children's cartoon series which is currently being shown on the Pop Max television channel, called 'SHeZow' The basic premise concerns a 12 year old boy, Guy Hamdon, who inadvertently puts on a ring which used to belong to his late Aunt Agnes. The problem is, it's actually a 'ring of power' that should only be worn by females as it turns the wearer into the superheroine SheZow whenever the phrase 'you go, girl' is uttered, resulting in super strength, speed, agility, empathy, a sonic scream, an arsenal of crime-fighting gadgets, and...a pink female superhero costume, complete with mascara, long pink-highlight hair, high heeled go-go boots, and mini-dress 52 episodes of the cartoon were made, each one lasting about 15 minutes, and they follow the classic plot of superhero vs. supervillain including Big Chow Slim, Cold Finger, Manny Ken, Moctopus and members of S.I.C.K (the Society of Incredibly Callous Kriminals) Lots of girly puns: The Beautility belt; 'That's she-mazing'; 'That's she-rrific!'; 'This is un-she-lievable!'; 'Quickly she-scape while you can' It also has a great kickin' theme song

Finished season 3 of Luther, Idris Elba is still great as Luther and Ruth Wilson is absolutely brilliant as Alice. Only two episodes in season four so will watch that tomorrow and wait for season five to air this year. Also continuing The Dresden files, which is a nice easy watch and noticed the executive producer is called Nicholas Cage and checked and he's it is that one. Now watching first episode of lost room. |

mind you tbh apart from switching TV on for game consoles or DVD \ blu ray films I honestly don't think I've watched TV since last year (probably less than 2hrs a week ) so I have got absolutely no idea of anything that's getting shown on any channels terrestrial \ sky or anywhere else. |

Probably doesn't mean anything to anyone here, but I was amused to see Robin Stewart as the pop band manager, one of whom is murdered, in the Whodunnit? season 3 episode I saw last night. He must have emigrated, because he was great as the dastardly Dr Ross Newman in 80s Aussie soap Sons and Daughters! |
