Netflix 6 episodes.

Reasonable star studded cast in this true story of fergus suter the Scottish player who moved to Darwen then Blackburn, who changed and made football what it is today and become the first recognised paid player in the sport, football was still in the early stages and was mainly for the rich and upper class as a pastime hobby and suter made it into a recognised Everyman sport by sticking up to FA who tried their best to ban Blackburn from the finals because they were afraid to be beat by the workingman.

The outline of the story is true but like most Netflix period dramas they have added elements that are just for dramatisation (but then again dont most true stories )

Some people like it some didn't because they can be a bit too picky about real facts, there isn't much background about Suter or what he did when he left, just more about how the sport got recognised by suter playing for Darwen then their rivals Blackburn getting into the finals, I watched it because it was a true story based around my hometown, I don't even like football.

I watched an episode of something on the Horror Channel a while ago, may have been Tales From The Dark side.

I can't remember what really happened in the episode now apart from the end.
A woman returns to a store after being out and she is actually a shop mannequin. I think she is told that now she has had her turn out it is another's turn to go outside of the store and she returns to being a shop mannequin.

There's two mannequin episodes from tales from the darkside i've found described on the internet having a quick mooch.

Mary, Mary - which i watched a few weeks back about a lonely woman who turns out to be a dummy.

Also

Miss May Dusa - i haven't seen it but it appears to be about a Saxophonist who falls in love with a dummy.

I don't know if there's any others.

If you Google "Horror channel" there's a list of shows that they have run.

How long ago did you watch the episode?

I saw those episode synopsis on Wiki but they don't sound like what I watched.

Binged half the series last night really is a great show. The animation and the colours are perfect everything pops out at you when someone is derezzed it almost flies out of the screen at you and feels like you can touch it. It also has some great voice acting from Elijah Wood and Lance Henriksen as the evil Tesler. I also have to give a mention to the soundtrack it's an altered version of Daft Punk's movie soundtrack which was a great soundtrack nice to see that tone is kept for this series.

Been watching the Simpson's on Disney plus.

30 seasons should keep me busy. Only ever seen the first few seasons as that's the ones Sky always seemed to show.
