Feud in the Addams Family Abigail Addams the prominent socialite is in a feud with Gomez and may sue him for his money, another socialite Mrs Courtney knows nothing of the feud is invited to the family while Wednesday wants Mrs Courtney's son Robespierre to be her boyfriend. Gomez, the Cat Burglar There is a cat burglar in the area and it's Gomez who is committing these burglaries while sleep walking, will hypnotherapy cure him? The family begin to worry and call a psychiatrist to help him get rid of his confidence. Morticia and Gomez vs. Fester and Grandmama Cheerful blue skies and sunshine, the weather is making the family miserable, Gomez and Morticia decide to go on holiday and hire a Governess to babysit. Grandma and Fester feel disappointed only to be told they spoil the children. With a luggage mix up the governess may not be suitable to look after the children. These episodes seem to be getting stupid and stupid yet I can't help but laugh at them, even the Christmas episode can you really see Fester being the happy jolly saint Nick? Seeing him in a shopping mall would put any children off Christmas

| The Addams Family Fester Goes on a Diet Uncle Fester's French Pen Pal is coming to visit and he has told her some white lies and tries to get in to shape, Gomez and Morticia think he is unwell and call on a doctor. The Great Treasure Hunt Gomez and Morticia find a treasure map that belonged to Peg-Legged Addams, they hire to sailors to help for the loot only for the sailors to try and steal the map. Ophelia Finds Romance Morticia's sister Orphelia comes to visit with her new boyfriend who the family think he is a fraud and try to prove it. Pugsley's Allowance Gomez and Morticia are shocked when Pugsley announces he wants a job and goes out looking for one. When the neighbours are needing their attic cleared, bush trimmed and car washed Pugsley is always happy to help. Happy Birthday, Grandma Frump Granny Frump's birthday is approaching, Morticia decides to send her away to a beauty farm only for fester to say she could be going into a home and decides to show how active she still is. Morticia, the Decorator Morticia decides to take up decorating, the neighbours think she can help with the interior of their house. Ophelia Visits Morticia Orphelia's new boyfriend Montrose has signed up for the peace core, Fester decides he should join up and bring Montrose home but he needs to start training. These episodes were funny but not as funny as the previous episodes, was good to see Margaret Hamilton return as Granny Frump and George Cisar made up to look like Uncle Fester.

| The Addams Family Addams Cum Laude After problems at school, Wednesday and Pugsley are enrolled in a private school run by truant officer Sam Hillard. Morticia and Gomez feel the children aren't getting a proper education so Gomez buys the school. Cat Addams Kitty Cat has lost his appetite so the family call a veterinarian who isn't aware Kitty Cat is a full grown lion, unaware how to deal with the family pet Morticia thinks the vet has low confidence and tries to help the doctor. Lurch's Little Helper The family think they are working Lurch too much and decide to get him a helper, a robot which Lurch begins to take a disliking to as he feels the robot is pushing him out of a job. The Addams Policy Uncle Fester is eager to test his new Flame Thrower, when he sets the stuffed bear on fire, the family's insurance won't pay out, they decide to help Mr Digby to set up his own insurance company for the family. Lurch's Grand Romance Morticia's school friend Trivia visits the family and Lurch is smittenby her, Trivia is only interested in show business and the family convince her that Lurch will be more exciting than show business. Grandma decides to whip up a love potion. Ophelia's Career Orphelia comes to visit, upset at her latest Beau so the family think on a career for her, maybe she could be a opera singer. This took longer than expected to get through but was worth it, John Astin and Carolyn Jones make the perfect couple and parents any children want, nothing seems to bother them except good weather. Jackie Coogan who played fester was always a laugh even putting a light bulb in his mouth to test his watt and always wanting to shoot someone in the back. Maria Blake (Blossom Rock) suited the part of Grandmama who had ideas that never really worked well and always seem to side with Fester. Lisa Loring and Ken Weatherwas played the Addams children Wednesday and Pugsley who always seem to be into mischief especially playing with dynamite and other assortment of toys that would make any parent cringe. Ted Cassidy who played Lurch was originally to be a silent character ad libbed the "You Rang" words and that was it he landed a speaking role with one smile that either you laughed at or he creeped you out, surely the makers could have brought out more seasons.

An Inspector Calls A education inspector is due to make a appearance, Mr Brown is informed that he is due to get a new student from Africa, trouble is the inspector is African, surely Mr Brown won't get confused. A Fate Worse Than Death Ranjeet is set to marry a girl he was promised to twenty years ago, he does not want to marry and plans on killing himself until Mr Brown intervenes and comes up with a idea that may land him in trouble when lines of communications are crossed. All Through the Night When their English isn't improving, Mr Brown is determined to help them, they stay in late unfortunately nobody told the caretaker and they get locked in. The Best Things in Life Jamila has been arrested for shop lifting but due to her poor English she is let off, Mr Brown realises she has stolen a lot more and plans to return the items back which may cause more problems than he aticipated. Come Back All Is Forgiven Mr Brown's birthday is here the class give him gifts but also his monthly trial is over, the class get a new teacher who they hate as well as Miss Courtney and they try to bring back Mr Brown. The Cheating Game The class are due to take a mock exam, Mr Brown has no faith in them, Tea lady Gladys gives him some advice, leave the answers where they can see them to copy. Better to Have Loved and Lost Ali and Su-Li plan to get married, trouble is Ali is already married but in his religion he can have a second wife. Kill or Cure Mr Brown becomes ill with the flu and the class visit him at home with their own remedies to help cure him of his illness. Hello Sailor Juan brings his Russian sailor friend who wants to stay in England due to finding a lady, his captain comes to collect who decides he wants to stay as he has found love in Miss Courtney. A Point of Honour The wood class teacher is pestering Danielle who she says is engaged to Mr Brown, a punch up is booked, can Mr Brown defend the honor of his class student. How's Your Father Mr brown encourages his class to speak on topics, taro reveals about his childhood which Mr Brown says he was abandoned at a orphanage but his parents may be close by. The Examination Time for the exams to take place, Mr Brown has a uncomfortable situation with a couple in the pub who turn out to be the exterminators for his class, will they pass? Good old classic British television that may cause stir if it was remade today from the first episode to the last the laughs come constantly even with Ranjeet and Ali who come from different religions and seem to be in battle of insulting each other and Danielle being the French beauty that causes a lot of wolf whistles when she leans over. 81Qdn+rUulL._RI_.jpg

| 1999 UK Biggest Hits A fine series ended on a flat note (Due to me not liking most of the songs on the list) but certainly worth watching just for the stories behind the songs alone. Alex James (Of Blur) was the star for me. trebor8273 and bleakshaun like this. |
