As in my comment they didn't plan for a 2nd series also they didn't think it would be as much a huge success, give it a whirl it got mixed reviews some ppl like it better than the first, others not so, but it's more about the trying to find who's behind it and where are they doing it than the games, which to a degree makes sense, but they split it and called it season 3 instead of what cobria Kia done and split the episode and show rest weeks later, also I think some stuff would work better if they went back to old school and show them weekly instead of allowing us to binge it one go.

In 1984 he starred in Anna Karenina in which he was allergic to horses but doped himself up in amphetamines and started his horse show jumping and then in 1995 he had his riding accident which left him paralysed, to the point of giving up and then finding smile and laugh again.

This was a great programme/documentary on a great actor with home movies of himself and his family plus snippets of interviews he gave and how he was loved by friends, family and other celebrities and his friendship with Robin Williams.
I've been unsure whether to watch this or not because I have mixed feelings about Christopher Reeve's approach to life with a spinal cord injury, rarely making the most of his life and putting so much effort into finding a cure.

I remember seeing the headlines about his horse riding accident because I was on a campsite with family and it was only a few months before I sustained a similar injury in a diving accident when we were on holiday in France and have never been interested in a cure, preferring to concentrate on living life to the full.

I think it would be eye-opening to see about his life as a child, before Superman brought him fame and fortune, and another side of his life as a tetraplegic/quadriplegic.

I'm currently watching the first season of Battlestar Galactica. Part of a complete series watch.

I've seen the prologue style mini series before as well as this first season but none of the others. Back when it initially came out on dvd i loved the three hour mini series and loved it all again when i saw it for the second time on Sunday night.

However the first series on first watch didn't really grab me and i never bothered with any others until now. Now all these years later i'm really enjoying it, albeit i'm only six episodes in. Well, six episodes and three hours of the mini series, but this time around i'm really invested in the characters and the overall struggle of the Galactica and it's collection of straggler ships as they attempt to survive the Cylon invasion of Caprica and the hunting down and killing of all humans.

Episodes seven and eight tonight. Can't wait.

And i never mentioned the stunning Tricia Helfer once.

When she kills that baby in the miniseries, it's so powerful.
I'm really glad that you've given it another go and are enjoying it. You've actually surpassed me in my rewatch as I got caught up watching The Crown and I'm only up to episode 6 of BSG

I have got the first two series of The Crown on dvd but i've only seen the first. It's good. Margaret's proper hmm well you know. Haha.

I was interested in seeing Matt Smith outside of Doctor Who - it's years since i saw that first series and he hadn't made stuff like Last night in Soho and House of the Dragon or anything at that time. Anyway i thought he was really good as Phillip.

As far as former Doctor Who stars go, his companion Jenna Coleman's series Victoria was better in my opinion. I have all that including specials on dvd.

Can't always watch horror can we?

I realise i left an 'a' out of that sentence. It's supposed to read

'Margaret's a proper,' as in add whatever swear word you choose, whereas it looks like from what i said i thought she was gorgeous.

How can a single letter create so much confusion.

Well if that's what you think, she gets ever worse when it's Helena Bonham Carter playing her

To be honest i've no intention of seeing all of The Crown. I was around for the Silver Jubilee celebrations and remember them well (series three) even though i was young so i can imagine i'd just find all the none historically accurate dramatical exaggerations annoying of the later series.

I'd be like a Daily Mail reader going off on one.
