Did you buy it? I'm pretty sure that's the wrong price tag. They were still $7 today with the dvd at $5.

Absolutely loved the film by the way.

No, I don't own the first two. And have only seen the first one. Maybe they've put the dvd price tag with the blu ray. The label itself doesn't specify the format.

I'm intrigued to see all three volumes of Short Sharp Shocks included. That's a heck of a bargain given they're normally ?20 each. I recall your review of the first one being particularly unenthused Dem. Are they really that bad? Not even warranting ?7.50 each? I have The Lake on The Appointment, the one short I seem to recall you found really worthwhile on the first volume.

Yes, other than The Lake, which i also have now on The Appointment, they were pretty poor films on volume one.

Volume two sounded very agenda driven so i avoided that and didn't even know there was a third volume i don't think.

Perhaps not a bargain as such but when you consider it's a film now out of print and unlikely to resurface Amazon selling the wonderful British horror The Monster (Aka I Don't Want to be Born) at the reduced price of $12.99 is a decent offer and worth mentioning.

It's a bonkers tale of possession which precursed The Omen and has a classic cast including Joan Collins, Ralph Bates, Donald Pleasence, Eileen Atkins and Caroline Munro.

The Network restoration is gorgeous.

HMV have added a lot of StudioCanal Vintage and Cult Classics to their 2 for ?15 Blu-ray offer. These are replacing the Premium Collection titles.

Films include The Wicker Man, Fright, Peeping Tom, The Silent Enemy, The Three Musketeers, The Antichrist, Horrors of the Black Museum, Extreme Prejudice...

Thanks Dem. Quite a few of those I want when funds allow. Been waiting for those Cult Classics to drop a bit.
