Bought a few of these myself earlier at Poundland

I got... Last Cannibal World (which I have a feeling I've already seen on Zone Horror...)

Deep River Savages (don't think i've seen this)

Cannibals (looks interesting to say the least!)

Ghoul School (erm not sure about this one but thought might as well for a pound)

Stink of Flesh (i trusted the quote on the front that it's better than shaun and 28 days!)

I also saw Psycho Sisters which looked a bit crappy (anyone seen this one?!), Zombie Chronicles which I got there before and it's awful and Hellmaster (looks like a amateur rip-off of Hellraiser?) & Vamp vs Zombies. Looks like I'll be back in October for some more

I watched Hellmaster yesterday Robbie. From the opening scene I thought it was gonna be alright. Turns out I was wrong it was absolute crap. Probably the longest 80 minutes of my life, it was so bland and boring I was actually struggling to stay awake.

I also watched Switch Killer yesterday which, I have to say, wasn't half bad. I'd recommend picking that one up if you haven't seen it.

I had the misfortune of watching this one recently too and you're right, it is absolute crap! I should've known from the blurb on the back, which said that John Saxon was in 'Dawn of the Dead' and Davide Emge was in 'Nightmare on Elm Street!!!!' . It's a pity really, as it had some pretty good ideas.

Yes Robbie, LCW was is on Zone Horror quite often.
The Hardgore release is cut of animal violence and a rape scene thats imo , nessary to the film but other than that its a really good film, especially for a quid.

Cannibals is a Jess Franco film so I think you'll no not to expect to much.
Look out for the primitive cannibals with gold wedding rings on. lol
Its actually not bad and definetly worth a watch, and if I remember right its uncut. Much better than Cannibal Terror . ( Hardgore, Shriek )

Deep River Savages, the film that kick started the cannibal sub genre, A bit like A Man Called Horse, (Richard Harris) only set in modern times, its really is a title to keep in your collection. Very good.
Only cut for animal cruelty so its great value for a pound.

Not sure about the others.

I don't think many of those Hardgore titles are worth a pound

That said, I managed to pick up Fulci's AENIGMA in Poundland yesterday.

Your all lucky you can get them at a pound. Until the Shriek Collection came along all the Hardgore Collection was full price. I paid 17 quid for Last Cannibal World and thought it a bargain as the rest of my Haregore films cost19.99.

I did see an HG disc in HMV last week priced at 13 quid.

I cant believe Hard Gore films used to cost so much (especially considering most of them are shite ) Travelling Man used to stock them a couple of years back, they sold them for around 18 quid a piece aswell.

Watched The Wickeds the other night

It contained one of the most dragged out love scenes I have ever seen on film!!

Highlight for me was watching porn legend Ron Jeremy "acting" it up big time.

Ludicrous plot, hammy acting, cheesy SFX and shaky camerawork as to be expected of all Poundland titles

A quality watch all round!!!
