I quite enjoyed Hellgate and i still don't get the hate given some of the crap that's enjoyed around these parts.

A last look in Poundland before Halloween netted these on the replay labeled stock.

Found some film called 'Rage' at my local last week, added that to my watching pile.

Looks okay, although it has a crazy number of external reviews on IMDb - I'm guessing someone was very pro-active at sending out screener discs.

This nice quad film set showed up today in Poundland, no complaints at 25p each
the films themselves all look okay but Final Countdown(star of the set really) is one of those skinny/thin filmstrip like transfers, I just set my telly to cinema to get a more watchable aspect.

Moon 44 is pretty good, an early sci-fi from Roland Emmerich, it has some good direction even if the storyline is a bit messy.

My Moon 44 review

My local here in Keighley has had some obscure stuff lately. Picked up DTV sci-fi Memory Run (which looks to be a VHS transfer with no new BBFC cert. a la 23rd Century), Tenth of a Second which is a really obscure South African film and sci-fi Escape Velocity which looks interesting.

The Poundland in Basingstoke has a lot of Halloween 'accessories' at the moment

Hopefully it won't be too long before they get their Halloween movies in

Basingstoke Poundland has quite a lot of horror films in now, including 'Attack Of The Werewolves', 'The Omen' (2006 version), 'Devil' (M. Night) blu-ray

However, they are not in a display case, just mixed in with the other titles
