It's one of the worst horror films I have EVER seen! |

Man from Deep River. This is an excellent movie, that's in need of a UK release. Of course it would have to be cut by the BBFC, but only the animal cruelty scenes, and if Shameless stated on the back that the other violence in the films are still in tact, and only the animal scenes cut out, then you would still get people buying the dvd. I would certainly buy it again, minus the animal violence. |

I think that fact the Deep River Savages was on sale in £Land has killed off any commercial prospects it might have had. There was an unauthorised UK dvd back in 2000 that was completely uncut but full screen. |

Umberto Lenzi's Spasmo would be a good release (and yes i am aware it's available in the usa)

House By The Cemetery was also released in a budget and bootlegged uncut form. Thankfully Arrow have done it justice.

I have that realease, not too bad but like you say the Arrow release is better. DVD Classics also released Emanuelle and the Last Cannibals and Love Camp 7(i wonder if the bbfc would reject that today?). |

It's difficult to say for sure if the BBFC would reject Love Camp 7 today but ones things for sure they would have to accept quite a number of cuts for an 18.

I couldn't see Love Camp 7 being rejected now but I agree it would definitely receive hefty cuts.

Spasmo is possibly one of the most confusing giallo ever made, I'd much rather see Lenzi's Blood Stained Orchids or Eyeball. It'd be nice to see Shameless tackle a Bava at some point, I know the rights for Bay Of Blood would be too expensive but how about it? |
