I'm desperate for a copy of Tam Lin which starred Ava Gardner and Ian McShane and was the only fil m diredted by Roddy McDowell. You can't find it anywhere in the world - a perfect Shameless release (though I think it may not be overtly horror??? - ain't seen it see).

I'd like to see a proper uncut version of Jess Franco's The Bloody Judge starring Christopher Lee. The version released by Redemption is ripped to shreds.

I hope Shameless stay away from Jess Franco, the UK, US and European market is full of Franco product. There are other much better directors and films that need the Shameless treatment.

How about Blood for Dracula and Flesh for Frankenstein, or do they have really good releases already?

That's good coz I don't really rate Tartan that much. Nice prints but nothing in the way of extras, Something Weird usually release the same films but better

The extras on Tartan's Black Christmas are excellent.

Flesh for Frankenstein and Blood For Dracula are a little sparser but still worth picking up. Both films come with fascinating booklets detailing the BBFC censorship problems and press reviews.

Booklets are good, as long as there's some info about the movies that's cool

More Rosalba Neri please!
There's a lot of good movies with her without a nice dvd release...
For example:
Top Sensation
Amuck
Smile Before Death
Lady Frankenstein
Devil's Wedding Night

And seeing Two Masks For Alexa is in the Surf Catalog...
Never seen it but looks like a pre-Argento style giallo to me.
The Italian version includes more nudity than the Spanish version btw.
"ALEXA is top 10 Rosalba and a subbed dvd would be a dream come true."
(John Bernard)

Alexa/Rosalba shakes...
